Kia Ora! My name is Chase Morpeth

Over the years, I have had the chance to travel all around the world, and photograph some of the world's best athletes while also participating in Inline and Ice Speed Skating at an elite level.

I have been a full time speed skater for many years, taking photos on the side. This has given me a new way to see the rawness of sport and the world and to eternalize moments and emotions through photography.

I got my first camera (Canon 90d) in 2020 after discovering the joy of taking photos with my phone. I saved up and finally bit the bullet.

I was really into wildlife and landscape photography at the time (and still am!).

I'd spend countless hours in makeshift camera hides built out of pallets, waiting in the paddock for birds to photograph at first light!

I moved to Germany to pursue inline speed skating full time, and my photography interests naturally shifted more towards sport. A new door of photography I had not experienced had been opened and I jumped straight through!

The lens gives me a chance to share what I feel as an athlete, and convey the true emotion and action that is only found through sport!
